Welcome

The Royal Bavarians were formed in 1974 and support the Autumn Leaf Festival, escort the float to Northwest Festival Hosting parades, assist the Royal Lady, and support Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce.

The organization became a member of the Northwest Festival Hosting Group several years later. Members of NWFHG support other members' festivals by participating with their floats in their parades. Each Festival offers a Hospitality Weekend Packet for visiting festival members.

Each and every year it is our pleasure to host visiting festivals that come to Leavenworth from all over the Pacific Northwest with a full weekend of activities, dinners, and a Bavarian night.

The hospitality we extend is in appreciation of the wonderful hospitality we receive as we travel the parade circuit each year accompanying the Autumn Leaf Festival float.

The excitement generated by the Autumn Leaf Festival float and our presence walking alongside it is electrifying to spectators, giving wonderful representation for our Bavarian Village.
